From Original Artwork to Gallery-Quality Reproduction

The Gallery is not only a shop of images. It is Kikala Factory's production strength applied to Georgian art: controlled scanning, colour material choice, textured finishing, and a physical gallery location.

01

Professional scans from original works

Start with the real artwork, then build a clean production file that protects detail, color, contrast, and texture.

02

Industrial quality on Canon Colorado M-series

For high quality rigid reproductions, the Colorado workflow supports strong color, durability, and advanced finishing.

03

Matte, gloss, and raised texture

FLXfinish+ can create controlled matte and gloss zones, while textured layers can make selected reproductions feel more physical.

04

Fine-art paper editions

When the artwork needs a more traditional fine art result, imagePROGRAF production gives a premium paper-based path.

Roll prints that become finished gallery panels

Our large-format production technology transforms high-resolution scans of original paintings into enduring, gallery-quality artworks. It enables reproductions at scale with exceptional detail, rich surface finishes, and precise mounting on materials such as aluminum Dibond, PVC, MDF, and other rigid panels, bridging the original artwork with a beautifully finished physical object.

UVgel Technology

Matte, gloss, texture and large-format consistency.

Each artwork begins with a high-resolution scan and careful colour preparation to preserve the character, texture, and depth of the original painting.

The reproduction is then printed on premium roll media using advanced UV-curing technology. This process delivers precise detail, controlled colour, crisp edges, and consistent results across both small editions and large-scale artworks.

Once printed, the artwork can be mounted onto aluminum Dibond, PVC board, MDF, or another selected rigid surface. The result is not simply a print, but a stable, finished, wall-ready artwork designed for long-lasting display.

ELEVATED FINISH, TACTILE DEPTH AND DIMENTION

Matte, gloss, and combined visuals

One print can carry a calm matte surface, a glossy highlight, or mixed matte/gloss zones that make dark areas, signatures, ornaments, or varnish-like details feel more intentional.

01/FLXFINISH+

Controlled shine without turning the whole artwork glossy

Many reproductions look stronger when only selected details catch light. A dark robe, a painted highlight, a signature, or decorative pattern can be glossed while the rest of the work remains matte and elegant.

02/FLXTURE

Subtle texture for brush grain and canvas feeling

FLXture is not a heavy relief finish. It is a refined, low-profile texture layer for works that need a tactile surface: brush movement, paper tooth, fabric feeling, ornamental detail, or a quiet premium finish.

03/MOUNTED OBJECT

The print becomes a rigid artwork

The finished print can be mounted to aluminum Dibond for a modern gallery look, PVC for lighter installations, MDF for a warmer object feel, or another board depending on scale, budget, and display conditions.

Scan

The original painting is digitized and prepared for colour, crop, and print scale.

Print

The image is produced on selected premium media with precise detail and consistent colour.

FINISH

Matte, gloss, mixed FLXfinish+, or subtle FLXture detail is chosen according to the artwork.

APPLY

The printed media is mounted to Dibond, PVC, MDF, or another rigid board and trimmed cleanly.

Direct-to-rigid printing and true raise texture

Arizona is the flatbed side of the Gallery story. It prints directly onto rigid materials and can build elevated tactile surfaces for selected pieces. This is where reproductions can move from flat image to relief object.

FLATBED/PRISMAELEVATE XL

For panels where the surface itself becomes part of the art

With our flatbed printing technology, the rigid board goes onto the flatbed and the image is printed directly onto the material. That opens the door for aluminum composite, PVC, MDF, acrylic-style surfaces, specialty boards, and experimental display panels.

For selected works, the file can include a height map. The printer then builds many ink layers to create a tactile surface: brushstroke relief, ornamental areas, lettering, accessibility details, or a sculptural reproduction effect.

01/DRECT-TO-BOARD

No mounting step when the material should be the artwork

Arizona can print straight onto rigid panels. That is perfect for large boards, clean exhibition panels, decorative interiors, signage-grade artwork, and pieces where the edge and material are part of the presentation.

02/ELEVATED RELIEF

Up to 4mm of tactile print structure

This is the difference customers need to see. Raised ink can imitate brush movement, bring ornaments forward, create touchable details, or turn a reproduction into a more dimensional object.

03/LARGE PANELS

Built for serious scale

rigid format of 125 x 250 cm makes Arizona important for large single panels, interior art walls, hotel or office installations, and high-impact gallery pieces.

SCAN + DESIGN HEIGHT

The original painting is digitized and prepared for colour, crop, and print scale. It is then prepared with a relief layer that tells the printer where to build height

PLACE PANEL

The rigid board is positioned on the Arizona flatbed for direct printing.

BUILD LAYERS

Ink layers are stacked to create raised form, then the image and finish are printed above.

FINISH OBJECT

The panel is inspected, trimmed if needed, and prepared as a display-ready piece.

Fine art printing: premium paper, pigment ink, museum-level detail

CANON IMAGEPROGRAF / FINE ART EDITIONS

The quiet luxury of paper texture.

Fine art printing is the best choice when the customer wants the artwork as an edition print: something intimate, collectible, and rich in detail. The paper is not just a base; it changes the entire emotional character of the work.

Matte cotton rag can feel soft and painterly. Baryta can bring strong contrast and a classic photographic depth. Pearl or silk-gloss surfaces can make colour feel luminous. Textured aquarelle-style papers can make reproductions feel closer to handmade art.

PREMIUM COLLECTOR ROUTE

Some reproductions should stay on paper. For editions, collector prints, and works where paper texture matters, Kikala Gallery can present a fine art route with premium paper surfaces, deep tonal range, and the highest possible photographic detail.

01/PAPER SELECTION

Different papers for different paintings

A calm portrait may need matte cotton rag. A dark, dramatic work may need baryta depth. A colourful modern piece may need a pearl or silk-gloss surface. The paper should be chosen with the artwork, not after it.

02/PIGMENT QUALITY

Smooth tone, deep blacks, fine detail

The fine art route is for customers who care about shadow detail, skin tones, subtle colour transitions, and the feeling of a print that can be framed, archived, or collected.

03/HYBRID FINISH

Paper print, then mounted if needed

A premium paper print can stay traditional, or it can be mounted to aluminum Dibond for a cleaner frameless object. This lets Kikala offer both classic editions and contemporary wall panels.

From original artwork to finished reproduction

The strongest story is the complete workflow: the original painting is captured carefully, the right production route is chosen, and the final object is finished as a panel, paper edition, or raised tactile print.

01 SCAN

The original work is professionally scanned or captured so colour, texture, and fine detail have a strong starting point.

02 PREPARE

Each reproduction is matched to its best route: Colorado mounted panel, Arizona direct-to-board relief, or imagePROGRAF fine art paper.

03 PRINT

The work is produced with the correct ink, media, and finish: UVgel, flatbed UV, or 12-colour pigment fine art output.

04 MOUNT

The print is mounted to Dibond, PVC, or MDF, or printed directly onto rigid board with Arizona for large-panel work.

05 FINISH

Matte, gloss, FLXture, 4mm elevation, paper texture, edges, and hanging details are finished around the artwork.
