
Gogi Tatishvili
Gogi Tatishvili was born in 1958 in Yangiabad, Uzbekistan. He built his artistic foundation at the Iakob Nikoladze Art School (1973–1977) and later specialized in film and television art at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (1977–1983). He further refined his craft in a graphic arts workshop until 1987.
Since 1984, Tatishvili has been a prominent visual artist and production designer in the Georgian film industry. He is best known for creating the distinct visual aesthetics of numerous acclaimed films, including The Stain (1985), Night Dance(1991), Tbilisi-Tbilisi (2005), and The Russian Triangle (2007). In addition to his extensive work behind the camera, he also made an on-screen appearance in the 1999 film The Knight of the Order of Loneliness.
