Giorgi Gagoshidze

Giorgi Gagoshidze (born 1983 in Tbilisi) is a contemporary visual artist who has actively exhibited in Georgia and internationally since graduating from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 2007. His early focus on landscapes and abstract compositions has gradually evolved into three-dimensional "pictorial objects" that blur the line between traditional painting and sculpture.

Navigating the shifting boundaries between imagination and reality, Gagoshidze’s current work integrates symbolism, text, and historical events into experimental compositions. His expanded visual language features politically charged art that explores themes of war, resistance, and identity, particularly highlighting Georgia and Ukraine's struggles against Russian imperialism.

FLXture + FLXfinish+

One technology allows printing both matte and glossy finishes on the exact same surface simultaneously without the need for extra varnish. The other technique builds up microscopic layers of ink to create physical, 3D textures, perfectly mimicking the tactile brushstrokes of original paintings.
